That which has value

The whole of human existence has become blindly obsessed with the issue of having possession of, if not the right to possess (by virtue of debt) those things that have value, specifically; money.  No thing has any more or less value than what we assign it and it is woeful to contemplate that we would, individually or collectively, assign a higher value to any thing than what we reserve for ourselves, yet we have.

In the universe, there are only two values, these being the same ones we should concern ourselves with, lest we lose all reason and rationality:  There is that which is TRUE and that which is FALSE and to count them as two values is only insofar as there are two different words to count, for they are in essence, opposite views of the same value; its validation and its negation.  The only actual and real value that exists is truth which is simultaneously the only thing of value, yet we have come to value money more we value ourselves and even more than truth, and because of these we are all but lost in our own lie.

  1. Ah, the question is and has always been, “What is Truth?” Seems everyone has a different answer for that one! To go within, to discover self, to find the well spring of your life, to follow your bliss, to live fully, to see the “awe” of all that is, then to relax within and Be Still and Know. There you will discover Truth.

Thank you for your comment and for your beautiful words. They are indeed inspiring however they speak to a different topic than my post. I was not asking a question as to the nature of truth or the meaning of truth; we all know the difference between what is true and what is not, I was establishing that truth, regardless of how we may interpret it individually, is the only value that has any real value. I have looked within and have Known the Stillness of Being, the truth to be discovered is that within the I of the self, there is US, all of us. What benefits one of us benefits us all and what hurts one of us hurts us all. Love is the “awe” born of truth. In the journey that is life, we travel to find ourselves so that we can then find each other for we are all we have.

Completely perceive what your stance on this matter. Although I might disagree on some of the finer particulars, I believe you probably did an awesome job explaining it. Positive beats having to research it on my own. Thanks. Anyway, in my language, there are usually not much good source like this.
